While it may still be January and the cold, dark mornings feel like they will last forever, as an event organiser you are no doubt planning things in the calendar for summer 2020 (and beyond).

Here at Evolution Dome we love nothing more than working with clients on outdoor events during mid-summer – and our inflatable structures are the perfect addition to an al fresco soiree.

Weather-proof your event

The Great British Summer – full of sunshine, beach days, ice cream and, well, rain. It’s a given that British weather is unpredictable, so make sure your event is ready for any eventuality with the elements. We don’t like to brag, but Evolution Dome structures are ideal when the forecast doesn’t go to plan – not only will they be a perfect shelter from the rain, they also withstand winds of up to 55mph. Contingency planning at its best.

Make an impression

We love nothing more than hearing from our clients that our domes were eye-catching and a talking point amongst delegates or visitors.  You can really get creative with the structures, too. At last year’s Bristol Fashion Week Festival, Evolution Dome provided four domes for the event which included a large 15m x 30m cube which housed an impressive catwalk area set on a ‘village green’ style lawn. With superb AV and lighting as well as floral hanging arrangements, the dome was fit for the fashion world!

Thinking long term?

If your event is due to run over the course of a few days or weeks, our domes can be rented for the duration you need – some venues might have events booked up throughout a certain period, but if you have an outdoor space, then the domes can remain in situ until you need them taken down.

A dome of many talents

When it comes events, practicality is key. Behind the finished project is a huge amount of logistical planning and we like to think as a partner we can make things a little easier – our domes can be used in so many ways. If your outdoor event has valuable stock, a structure can be used for storage, or perhaps as a concession shop – this was something famed racetrack Silverstone utilised during the Formula 1 British Grand Prix with Evolution Dome structures being fitted out as five pop-up stores.

Other uses of course include an outdoor bar area away from an indoor venue, a registration area to welcome delegates or even breakout spaces during a conference.
