We are delighted to announce that our inflatable structures were chosen to create five temporary theatres at the Conservative Party Conference 2023 (CPC23), which took place from 1 – 4 October 2023.

The conference and exhibition were held for senior party officials, MPs, council group leaders, councillors, party members, and journalists to listen to speeches and policy announcements and participate in fringe events on various subjects over four days.

Ash Austin, director of Evolution Dome, explains, “The client approached us looking for a way to define theatre spaces within the busy exhibition floor without disturbing the quality of the sessions for delegates. The soundproofing properties of our temporary structures made us an ideal fit for the conference.” 

In order to create the theatre spaces, the client chose two 15m inflatable cubes, each with a capacity of 100 attendees. Additionally, our inflatable walls formed three smaller theatres that hosted several fringe sessions.

Ash added, “With the range of content taking place simultaneously, conferences require careful coordination from all parties to ensure everything runs smoothly. Our team successfully installed all the inflatable structures for CPC23 within 5 hours, which enabled the client to complete the setup of AV and furniture in just one day, giving them more time to focus on the other aspects of the event.”
