The Brief:
Evolution Dome was first contacted by BES Events (based in Seattle) with possible requirements for the Microsoft Tech Summit. With great communication and planning, Evolution Dome was awarded the contract to supply temporary inflatable structures to the Frankfurt event.
The Solution:
Evolution Dome supplied 11 x structures totaling 3,520 square meters of Temporary conference Space for the 3-day event. The team worked closely with BES and the event management at Frankfurt Messe to overcome any H&S issues including manufacturing suspended supports for wireless smoke detectors so all the structures could be integrated into the fire alarm system at the venue. All materials used in the manufacture of our structures are fire retardant to European standards (tested to BS7837: 1996, BS13501: 2007 + A1: 2009) and USA standard (NFPA 701 Method 1 & 2, 2015 edition).
The Result:
All Structures and glass doors were installed in just a day and a half by a team of 12, the event came to a close at 5pm on the 22nd Feb, and by 6.30pm on the 23rd Feb the venue was clear! Temporary Inflatable Structures offer huge benefits to organisers when trying to place multiple seminar theatres on one show floor. The Domes and Cubes complete with glass doors mean you instantly drop 20BD from inside the structure to outside. This eliminates sound bleed between theatres and offers delegates a quite conference space to listen and learn.
